Summary:

This article offers a guide to managing event statuses and understanding the triggers that automatically change them. Learn how to transition an event from "inquiry" to "proposal" by sending it to the client and discover the implications of each status change.

Instructions:

  • What triggers a status change from "Inquiry" to "Proposal"?

    • On "Proposal" tab, clicking "Copy Shareable Link" will initiate the status change.

    • In the Booked status, event prices and quantities lock down so that you don't accidentally change pricing while your client is viewing the proposal. You can still make pricing and quantity changes by unlocking the event (top right event card)

  • What triggers a status change from "Proposal" to "Booked"

    • The status changes automatically from "proposal" to "booked" when the client signs the contract.

  • You can manually adjust status, although it's not recommended:

    • Navigate to the "Details" tab of your event, expand "Event Details," and find the "Event Status" section.

    • Click the pencil icon to switch between "archived," "queried," and "booked" statuses.
