Managing Clients in Core Data
View, edit, merge, and add clients across your account and events
Summary
This article explains how to manage client records in FlowerBuddy using the Core Data tab. You’ll learn how to view client details, edit or delete records, merge duplicates, perform bulk actions, and add clients directly within an event.
Instructions
Navigate to the Core Data page and click the Clients tab to view all client records in your account.
Review each client’s details and see which events they are connected to.
Edit a client by clicking the pencil icon next to their record.
Delete a client by clicking the trashcan icon.
Select multiple clients using the checkboxes on the left side of the list.
Open the Bulk Actions menu and choose Merge to combine selected client records.
In the merge dialog, choose which attributes you want to keep for the final record.
Confirm the merge by checking the confirmation box, then click Merge.
Use additional bulk actions to export client data as CSV or JSON files or delete multiple clients at once.
Open an event and go to the Details tab.
Locate the Clients section within the event.
Click Add Client to attach an existing client to the event.
Search for a specific client or select one from the list.
If the client does not exist, create a new client directly from within the event.
