Understanding Quantity Names for Flowers
Set how flowers are measured in recipes and how they’re purchased from wholesalers
Summary
In FlowerBuddy, quantity names determine how flowers are measured and displayed in two key areas: when building recipes and when purchasing from wholesalers. The recipe setting controls how quantities are entered and shown in your designs, such as by stem or by bunch. The purchase setting defines how your wholesaler sells the flower, such as by the bunch or by the box. These settings work independently, and understanding both ensures accurate recipe building and cost tracking.
Instructions
Understand how quantity names apply to recipes
The recipe quantity name controls how you enter amounts when building a recipe.
If a flower is set to be used by the stem, entering 17 in a recipe means 17 stems.
If a flower is set to be used by the bunch, you can enter quantities such as 3 bunches or 0.5 bunch.
The selected unit is displayed next to the quantity field so you can clearly see what you are entering.
This setting determines how quantities are entered and displayed across all recipes.
