Build complete floral recipes with images, flowers, goods, and labor
Summary
In FlowerBuddy, recipe cards help you build detailed breakdowns of floral arrangements, including images, itemized flowers, hard goods, labor time, and optional settings. You can fully customize each recipe and duplicate them to speed up your event planning workflow. This article guides you through every step of creating and editing a recipe card.

Click on New Recipe to rename the card and expand it using the down arrow.
Add inspiration photos and notes:
Click the Inspiration Photos & Notes section to expand it.
Drag and drop images, browse files, or open your image library to reuse past images.
Use AI-applied tag filters to search your image library (e.g., "bouquet").
Add proposal notes (visible to the client) and flower notes (internal use only).
Add flowers:
Click Add Flower to open the searchable flower database.
Use tag filters to refine your search by type or color.

Adjust stem quantity to affect the overall cost, price, and profit calculations.
Use the "Items in Event" filter to quickly add flowers already used in the same event.
Drag and drop flowers using the six-dot icon to rearrange them.
Add hard goods:
Click Add Hard Good and search through FlowerBuddy’s database or filter to view only your items.
Select an item (e.g., white ribbon) and indicate whether it's coming from your inventory or being purchased/rented.
Specify if you are renting or selling the item to the client.
Enter the quantity in the appropriate unit (e.g., inches).
Add labor:
Click the Labor section and enter the estimated labor time in minutes per item.
The card will auto-calculate cost, price, and profit per unit and total for the quantity listed.
