Identify and resolve low stock warnings directly from your recipe cards

Summary

FlowerBuddy’s Inventory Management feature helps you monitor and resolve stock issues within your recipe cards. If you add an item that doesn’t have sufficient stock, a warning icon appears, guiding you through steps to fix the issue. This article walks through adjusting inventory levels and using the shopping list to replenish stock—all without leaving the event.

Instructions

  • This feature is available on the Pro and Unlimited plans.

  • When you add an inventory item to a recipe card, FlowerBuddy checks if you have enough in stock.

  • If you're understocked, a red triangle warning appears:

    • Click the triangle to view suggested actions.

  • Option 1: Adjust your inventory level manually

    • If you know the system’s count is incorrect, click Adjust Inventory Level.

    • Enter the correct quantity and click Submit to resolve the warning.

  • Option 2: Add needed quantity to your shopping list

    • If the count is correct and you’re short on stock, click the triangle and select Add to Shopping List.

    • FlowerBuddy auto-calculates the shortage and pre-fills the needed quantity.

    • Click Save to add it to your shopping list.

  • Follow up in the Inventory Management page:

    • Go to the Purchases tab to see items in your shopping list, including source event info.

    • Once purchased, mark the item as Purchased and then Received.

    • This updates the stock level and resolves the warning automatically in the original recipe.

  • Verify resolution:

    • Return to the event and refresh the page.

    • Open the recipe and confirm that the red warning icon is no longer present.
