Overview of AI Image Generation
The AI Image Generation feature in Flower Buddy allows you to create or edit images using AI. This feature is available wherever the Image Drag and Drop box appears.
How to Use AI Image Generation
Click the Generate with AI button next to any Image Drag and Drop box.
This opens the AI Image Generation dialog with several options:
Inspiration Image: Upload an image for the AI to edit (recommended for best results).
You can also select an existing image from your image library instead of uploading a new one.
Prompt (optional): Describe what changes you'd like made to the image or describe the new image to generate from scratch.
If you're not using an Inspiration Image, the prompt tells the AI what to generate from scratch.
Recipe Options: If you're working within a recipe, you can choose to include the recipe description or recipe flowers.
Click Generate to start the process. The AI will create or edit the image based on your input.
Once the image is generated, it will be displayed for review.
You can enter another prompt to make further edits to the generated image. Repeat this as many times as needed.
When you're happy with the result, click Use Image to insert it where you started the process.
Best Practices for AI Image Generation in FlowerBuddy
When using the “Generate with AI” feature in FlowerBuddy, there are two main approaches: editing an existing image, or generating a new image from scratch.
1. Editing an Image with AI
For best results, start by uploading an image and editing it with AI.
This approach helps preserve the structure of the original floral arrangement while allowing you to modify elements like:
Backgrounds
Context or setting
Colors or specific flower details
AI edits to existing images typically produce highly photorealistic results, often indistinguishable from real photographs.
2. Generating an Image from Scratch
If you don’t have an image to start with, you can also generate one entirely from a text prompt. To get the best results:
Be as descriptive as possible in your prompt.
Use the “Include Recipe Flowers” option to send your floral recipe to the AI.
You can also include the recipe description from the proposal or product notes.
When the recipe and description are included, your prompt can focus more on the setup or scene, such as:
“A bride holding a bouquet”
“A centerpiece on a rustic wood table”
This context helps the AI create an accurate and relevant image, even with a simple prompt.
