View and update pricing directly from the Core Data page
Summary
FlowerBuddy now allows you to manage flower and material pricing directly from the Core Data page under the Flowers & Materials tab. You can view all pricing associated with an item, including price ranges if multiple vendors are used. You can edit, delete, or add prices for both existing and new wholesalers. Pricing changes affect active events automatically, while deletions do not impact past event data. Event-specific pricing can also be created and managed independently from core data.
Instructions
Go to the Core Data page and open the Flowers & Materials tab.
View item prices in the pricing table. A single price will display directly; multiple prices will show as a range.
Click the pencil icon next to an item to open the pricing dialog.
See current prices organized by wholesaler, with pricing shown by group size.
Click Add Price to enter a new price for an existing wholesaler. The wholesaler field will auto-fill. Enter your price details and click Add Price to save.
Edit or delete existing prices directly from the pricing dialog.
Editing a price automatically updates it across all active events using that exact price. Active events include those in Inquiry, Proposal, or Booked status with future dates.
Deleting a price removes it only from core data; existing events using that price remain unaffected.
To add a price for a new wholesaler, click the Add Price for New Vendor button. Select the vendor and input pricing details. To add generic pricing, set the vendor to None.
Within an event recipe, pricing displays as usual. When editing a flower price inside an event, you can:
Select from your existing core data pricing list
Edit core data prices directly from the event screen
Add new core data pricing from this screen
To create pricing only for the current event, click Create Event Specific Pricing.
Event-specific pricing will appear in the list and be labeled accordingly. You can also edit it or choose to save it to core data using the Save button.
Event-specific prices are not available in other events and do not appear in the core data list.
