Manage signed and unsigned contracts from the event’s file section
Summary
FlowerBuddy makes it easy to access signed contracts and manage unsigned drafts. You can view, download, or print signed contracts directly from the Files section of an event. If you're unable to unlock an event for editing due to an unsigned contract, you must delete the draft first. Once removed, the event becomes editable again, and your client can re-sign the updated version.
Instructions
Open the event and go to the Details tab.
Scroll down to the Files section, then locate the Contracts subsection.
To view, download, or print a signed contract:
Look for contracts marked with a green "Signed" status chip.
Click the eye icon next to the document you want to access.
A preview of the PDF will open, with options to download or print.
If you see a message saying "Cannot unlock an event with an unsigned contract," this means a contract draft exists but hasn't been signed.
To remove the unsigned contract draft:
Go to the Contracts subsection and find the contract without a green "Signed" chip.
Click the trash can icon to delete the draft contract.
After deleting the unsigned contract, go back to the top of the event and click Unlock to make edits.
Once changes are complete, your client can return to their proposal and click Sign to generate a new contract version with the updates included.
