Summary

FlowerBuddy lets you build a reusable library of contract templates, assign them as defaults for new events, and customize contracts within individual events without affecting the original templates.

Instructions

  • Go to Event Settings and open the Contract tab.

  • Enable or disable contracts by default for newly created events if needed.

  • View your contract template library, including each template's name and description.

  • Select the pencil icon beside a template to edit it.

  • Edit the template name or description as needed.

  • Add, remove, reorder, or edit contract sections. Each section can include an optional heading and a body.

  • Click Save when you finish editing.

  • Reorder templates in the library by dragging and dropping them.

  • Use Add to defaults to include a template in the default contracts for new events.

  • Reorder default contracts and use Preview to see how they will appear when combined.

  • Remember that template names and descriptions are for internal reference only. Only section headings and section bodies appear in the final contract.

  • Within an event, open the Details tab and scroll to the Contracts section.

  • Enable or disable contracts for that event.

  • Create a new contract from scratch or select Import to add a template from your contract library.

  • Use Preview to review the client-facing contract.

  • Reorder or edit contracts for the event as needed.

  • Edits made to a contract within an event only apply to that event and do not update the template or other events.

  • Changes made to contract templates only affect future events that use those templates and do not update existing events.
