Managing Inventory in FlowerBuddy

Add, track, rent, sell, and organize items in your inventory

Summary

The Inventory page in FlowerBuddy provides a centralized space to manage all your inventory items. You can add new items, assign them to locations, track ownership quantities, and record rental or sales usage per event—all while maintaining an up-to-date inventory list.

Instructions

  • Go to the Inventory page to see a full list of your items.

  • To add a new item:

    • Click Add Item to Inventory

    • Select an existing item from the list or search by name

    • If the item doesn't exist, create a new one

    • Assign the item to a location—type to create a new location if needed

    • Enter the quantity you own and click Add

  • Expand an item in the list to view more details and available actions.

  • To pull an item for an event:

    • Select Pull, then choose the event

    • Choose Pull to Rent if the item will be returned (inventory count remains unchanged)

    • Choose Pull to Sell if the item will not be returned (inventory count is reduced)

  • Additional inventory management actions include:

    • Edit stock levels manually

    • Edit item details (thumbnail, name, etc.)

    • Edit or assign item locations

    • Remove the item from inventory

  • Use the search bar to find items by keyword.

  • Use the category and color filters to refine the inventory view.
