Summary:

The tutorial covers how to manage inventory warnings in event recipes. These warnings appear when there is an insufficient stock of a particular item or when the item doesn't exist in your inventory at all. The video explains how to resolve these warnings either by adjusting your stock levels, pulling the available quantity, or adding the required items to a shopping list for future purchase.

Instructions:

  1. Identify Inventory Warnings:

    • Go to the recipes tab of your event and look for the triangle warning icons next to inventory items.

    • Click the triangle to get more details on why the warning exists.

  2. Types of Warnings:

    • Yellow triangle: Not enough items in stock.

    • Gray triangle: Item does not exist in your inventory.

  3. Resolve by Stock Adjustment:

    • Click on the yellow triangle warning.

    • If the stock amount is incorrect, update it to meet the event's needs.

    • Click 'Submit' to save the change.

  4. Partial Pull Option:

    • If only a part of the required quantity is available, you can still pull that amount for your event.

    • This is useful if you can supplement the missing quantity with similar items.

  5. Add to Shopping List:

    • Click on the yellow triangle and choose to add the missing quantity to the shopping list.

    • You can adjust the quantity based on how items are sold (e.g., in packs of five).

  6. Confirm Purchase on Shopping List:

    • Go to the inventory page and then to the purchases tab.

    • Confirm the item as purchased and received to resolve the warning.

  7. Future Improvements:

    • The system will soon add more conflict detection, including warnings for double bookings which are currently not indicated.
