Enable Tips for an Event

Summary

Enable optional client tips for an event by turning on web payments and configuring tip settings. You can allow tips during the final scheduled payment, after all scheduled payments are complete, or both.

Instructions

  • Open the event and select the Details tab.

  • Scroll to the Payments section and click Configure Settings.

  • Make sure Web Payments is enabled.

  • In the Tips section, enable Accept Tips.

  • Choose either or both of the available options:

    • Accept Tips on the final payment allows clients to add an optional tip when making their final scheduled payment.

    • Accept Standalone Tips adds a Leave a Tip button to the client portal after all scheduled payments have been completed, allowing clients to send a tip at any time.

  • If you manually mark a payment as paid, enter the total amount, including any tip.
