Summary:
The tutorial video discusses the newly added functionality that allows users to convert web proposals into printable PDFs. However, due to browser compatibility issues, it's recommended to use either Chrome or Microsoft Edge for optimal results. The video walks through the process, showcasing features like print preview, ink-saving options, and how to adjust layout settings. The user can either print the proposal directly or save it as a PDF, which can also be done by clients who receive the proposal.
Note: Printing proposal PDFs is only possible on the Pro and Unlimited plans.
Instructions:
Recommended Browsers: Use Chrome or Microsoft Edge for better compatibility.
Access Proposal: Open the web proposal you wish to convert to a PDF.
Printer Icon: Locate and click on the little printer icon at the top of the proposal. This brings you to a print preview screen.
Print Preview: Scroll through the print preview to ensure everything is loaded correctly.
Ink-Saving Options: Choose to have the background color and texture either on or off to save ink.
Layout Settings: Check the orientation in the print preview. The proposal design fits best on a portrait layout.
Change Destination: In the print preview, change the destination to 'Save as PDF' if you wish to save it instead of printing directly.
Save the PDF: Click save and specify the location where you want to store the PDF.
Review Saved PDF: Open your files and go to your downloads to review the saved PDF.
Client Access: Note that clients also have access to the printer icon and can download or print the proposal themselves.
