Summary:
You can add hard goods to your FlowerBuddy recipes and specify whether you are renting or selling the hard good to your client, and whether you have it in inventory or need to purchase or rent it.
Instructions:
Expand the recipe card and click on the Hard-Goods Row to open, then click the Add Hard-Goods button.
In the pop-up, search the database for hard-goods. If not found, click the hyperlink to create a new hard-good, fill out the form, and click to create. This item will then be available for all events.
Newly added items will not have a price initially. You'll see the item's image, name, and quantity per arrangement type.
Adjust the quantity as needed based on the arrangement type (e.g., 10 centerpieces require 10 bud vases).
To set a price, click the pencil icon next to the price field, input the cost, and update the group you order them in (e.g., boxes, sets, cases). Update to save the price.
Use the drop-down menus to specify if the item is for rent or sale to the client, which affects markups, and whether you already have it, need to purchase, or rent it for the event.
Adjust the number of hard-goods per arrangement if needed (e.g., change to three bud vases per centerpiece) and set as a rental if appropriate.
To add hard-goods to a new recipe card more efficiently, expand the hard goods section, click Add Hard Good, and use the Event Items tab above the field to select from previously added items for the event, then click Add. This simplifies adding items used in other recipe cards for the event.
