Build your flower palette before assigning to recipes
Summary
The Event Flowers section in FlowerBuddy allows you to create a full flower palette for your event without assigning flowers to specific recipes. This is especially helpful for organizing your flower selections before diving into detailed recipe planning. Once flowers are added to the Event Flowers section, they can be quickly accessed and imported into individual recipes like bouquets or centerpieces.
Instructions
Go to the Event Flowers section in your event workspace.
Click Add Event Flowers, then click Add Event Flower to open the flower search tool.
Use filters to narrow down your search by flower type and color. For example, filter for "Ranunculus" and "White" to find a white ranunculus.
Select the desired flower from the results.
To search for more flowers, clear or adjust your filters. You can keep certain filters like color and search for a new flower type (e.g., "Peony").
Continue selecting flowers until your full flower palette is built.
Click Add to confirm your selections and close the flower search tool.
Your selected flowers will now appear in the Event Flowers section.
To use these flowers in a recipe, go to the Recipes section and open a specific recipe (e.g., Bridesmaids Bouquet).
Expand the flower section in the recipe and click Add Flower.
Use the Items in Event filter to view only the flowers already added to the Event Flowers section.
Click Select All to bring them into the recipe and start building it.
