How to Assign Users to Events and Tasks in FlowerBuddy
With FlowerBuddy’s multi-user features (available on the Unlimited plan), you can assign team members to specific events and tasks—helping you stay organized and ensuring the right people get the right notifications.
1. Assign Users to Events
You can assign users from two places:
Within an Event
Open an event and go to the Details tab.
In the Key Event Data section, click the plus (+) icon next to Assignees.
Select one or more team members to assign.
To remove someone, click their picture and select Remove.
From the Events Page
Click Events in the top navigation.
In the Assignees column, hover over a row and click the plus (+) icon to add users.
Click a user’s image to remove them.
Note: Assigned users receive all event notifications, including contracts, payments, and task reminders—even for tasks assigned to others.
2. Assign Users to Tasks
You can assign users from either:
Within an Event
Go to the Tasks tab inside an event.
On each task, click the plus (+) icon at the bottom center to assign users.
Click user icons to remove them.
From the Tasks Page
Click Tasks in the top navigation.
Adjust the date range to see all tasks (default is next 2 weeks).
Click the plus (+) icon on any task to assign or remove users.
3. Filter by Assignee
You can filter views to show only events or tasks assigned to specific users:
Calendar View: Use the Assignee filter to see only your own events or tasks.
Events Page: Filter events by assignee.
Tasks Page: Filter tasks by assigned user.
