How to Add and Manage Tasks in FlowerBuddy

You can manage tasks in FlowerBuddy either within an event or from the Tasks page. Here’s how:


1. Add & Edit Tasks Within an Event

  • Open an event, then go to the Tasks tab.

  • You’ll see three columns: To Do, In Progress, and Complete.

  • Click “Add Task” at the bottom of any column to create a new task.

  • Edit the task name, add a description, and set a due date using the calendar or a date offset (e.g., “21 days before the event”).

  • Toggle the bell icon to receive an email reminder if the task is not marked complete.

To change a task’s status, drag and drop it into another column.


2. Use the Tasks Page

  • Click “Tasks” in the top navigation bar to view tasks across all events.

  • Use quick date filters (e.g., next day, next month) or click Reset to view all tasks.

  • Filter by event status (e.g., Booked, Inquiry) or team member (if applicable).

  • Add new tasks using the green “Add Task” button at the top.

  • Drag tasks between columns to update their status.
