Add and Edit Timeline Items in Your FlowerBuddy Event, or Change The Key Event Date

This article explains how to manage key event dates and timeline items in your event. It covers how to edit key event dates and time zones, add and manage timeline items, and update or remove locations and timeline entries.

Instructions

Editing Key Event Dates

  1. Navigate to the Details tab of your event.

  2. Locate the Key Event Data box at the top of the page.

  3. Click the pencil icon to edit the key event date.

  4. Update the event date and/or associated time zone as needed.

Adding a Timeline Item

  1. Go to the Timeline section on the same page.

  2. Click the Add Timeline Item button.

  3. Enter the following details for the new timeline item:

    • Name: Provide a name for the item.

    • Location: Select an existing location from the dropdown, or:

      • Type to search for a new location.

      • If the location doesn’t exist, click Add Location to create one.

        • Enter the location name and address.

        • Optionally fill out additional details for the location.

  4. Save the timeline item.

Managing Timeline Items

  • Toggle Visibility for Clients: Use the switch in the timeline item settings to control whether it appears on your client’s proposal.

  • Editing a Timeline Item:

    1. Click the pencil icon next to the timeline item.

    2. Update the date, time, or location as needed.

  • Removing a Timeline Item:

    1. Click the trashcan icon next to the timeline item to delete it.

Managing Locations

  • Editing a Location:

    1. Find the location in the timeline item settings.

    2. Click the pencil icon next to the location.

    3. Update the name, address, or other details. This will update the location across your database.
