Roles

The Roles tab contains two different kinds of shared definitions. Workspace Roles control what a member can view, edit, and manage across FlowerBuddy. Event Roles name responsibilities, such as Designer or Delivery Lead, that can be assigned on individual events and used for task assignment.

The workspace owner can open this tab. Workspace Roles is available with Events Unlimited or Retail access. A workspace using Events Starter alone can show Event Roles without Workspace Roles; this is a subscription distinction, not a missing permission that the owner must grant to themselves.

Event-role definitions are managed here, but assigning a person to an Event role happens on the event's Details tab. Event roles do not grant permission to edit prices or manage workspace access.

The Roles tab shows workspace access roles above the shared Event role definitions.

Use Workspace roles to control workspace access. Use Event roles to manage shared responsibility names.
