# QuickBooks

The **QuickBooks** tab manages the workspace connection and the sync settings used with QuickBooks. It is available on eligible workspaces.

Choose **Standard invoice sync** when FlowerBuddy should create and update QuickBooks invoices from event invoice settings. Choose **Accounting review / deferred revenue sync** only for the advanced QuickBooks accrual-accounting option. In that mode, the account mapping and deferred-revenue setup live on [Accounting > Accounts](/reference/accounting/accounts.md).

QuickBooks connection, sync mode, and standard invoice settings belong here. The **Accounts** tab in Accounting owns reporting categories, income and discount mappings, deferred revenue setup, and tax mappings.

The disconnected QuickBooks state explains the two modes before a provider connection is started.
