# Connect Stripe

Connect Stripe when your workspace will use Stripe for client card payments or, when eligible, ACH payments. The **Payments** tab shows whether the connected Stripe account can accept charges and payouts.

The Stripe card identifies the connection action and the payment capabilities FlowerBuddy will check afterward.

1. Open **Workspace Settings**, select **Integrations**, then select **Payments**.
2. In the Stripe area, select **Connect Stripe Account**.
3. Complete the provider-controlled connection steps.
4. Return to FlowerBuddy and review the Stripe status.

Card payments are ready only when the Stripe account shows payments enabled. Stripe ACH also requires a USD workspace and an active Stripe ACH capability. The status icons identify which requirement is not yet ready.

## Review the capability before using it

Connecting an account does not by itself turn on web payments for every event. After Stripe is connected, choose the workspace routing for future eligible client payments in [Choose payment processors](/reference/workspace-settings/integrations/payments/choose-payment-processors.md), or review the separate workspace-wide setting in [Enable web payments on all events](/reference/workspace-settings/integrations/payments/enable-web-payments-on-all-events.md). Individual event payment availability is configured on that event's **Details** tab.

Disconnecting Stripe removes the workspace connection. Review your payment configuration and any active event payment settings before choosing a disconnect action.
