# Configure workspace notifications

The switches on **Notification Settings** choose which workspace updates produce a notification. They are useful when your team wants notice of client actions and payment timing without checking every event manually.

The Notification Settings subtab lists each notification as an independent switch. The image shows their currently saved switch states.

1. Open **Workspace Settings**, select **Display & Alerts**, then select **Notification Settings**.
2. Turn a switch on to receive that notification, or off to stop receiving it.

The available notifications are:

* **Contract Signed** when a contract is signed.
* **Payment Received** when a payment is received.
* **Credit Received** when the workspace receives FlowerBuddy credit.
* **Payment Overdue: 3 Days** when a payment is three days overdue.
* **Payment Overdue: 7 Days** when a payment is seven days overdue.

Choose the alerts that match the updates your workspace needs to notice. Turning off a notification does not change the contract, payment, credit, or overdue status itself.
