# Filter tasks on the Tasks page

The filters above the board or list on the [Tasks page](/reference/tasks.md) narrow which tasks you see. Use them to review tasks for a particular event status, date range, or person. Filtering changes the view, not the tasks themselves.

## Event Status filter

**Event Status** filters tasks by the status of the event they belong to. Choose **All**, **Inquiry**, **Proposal**, or **Booked**. For example, select **Booked** to review tasks for booked events without including work for inquiries or proposals.

1. Open **Event Status** above the board or list.
2. Select the event status you want to include.
3. Select **All** to remove this filter.

This filter does not use the task's **To Do**, **In Progress**, or **Complete** status, or the event's custom **Workflow Status**. The circled field is the event filter, above the task columns.

## Date Range filter

**Date Range** shows tasks whose due date falls within the selected dates, including the first and last day. It uses each task's calculated due date, not the event date. For example, **Next 2 Weeks** helps you review the work coming up over the next two weeks.

1. Open **Date Range** above the board or list.
2. Select a start and end date, or choose **Next Week**, **Next 2 Weeks**, **Next Month**, or **Next 2 Months**.
3. To see tasks without a date limit, open the picker again and select **Reset**.

The date picker provides both calendar dates and shortcuts. Changing this filter does not reschedule any task.

A task whose due date depends on unfinished work may not have a calculated date yet, so it will not appear within a date range. See [Unresolved event tasks](/reference/event-page/tasks/show-unresolved-event-tasks.md) for how to review those tasks on an event's **Tasks** tab.

## Assignee filter

**Assignee** narrows the view to tasks assigned to a workspace member, either directly or through their Event role. Select yourself to review your work, or select a colleague to see their upcoming and completed tasks.

1. Open **Assignee** above the board or list.
2. Select the member's name.
3. To include everyone again, select the **Clear** icon in the field.

The circled field is the filter for the whole page. It does not change who is assigned to an individual task.

The **Assignee** filter is available on supported subscriptions. See [Assign a task to a member or Event role](/reference/tasks/assign-a-task.md) to change a task's assignment.

## Combine or clear filters

All selected filters apply together. For example, select **Booked**, choose a date range, and select a colleague to see only that person's tasks due during that period for booked events.

If an expected task is missing, return **Event Status** to **All**, reset **Date Range**, and clear **Assignee**. Then add the filters back one at a time. You can use the same filters in [Board or List view](/reference/tasks/choose-board-or-list-view.md).
