# Retail Settings

**Retail Settings** holds the workspace defaults used for retail pricing and display, plus the shared **Quick Reference** link for staff. These settings are separate from one retail plan and from a saved plan template.

When you create a retail plan without a plan template, FlowerBuddy starts with these defaults. A plan template can supply its own saved setup instead. Changing either kind of default later does not continuously update plans that already exist.

* [Markups](/reference/retail-settings/markups.md) sets the pricing assumptions used for suggested prices.
* [View Settings](/reference/retail-settings/view-settings.md) controls profit display, price warnings, and date formatting.
* [Quick Reference](/reference/retail-settings/quick-reference.md) manages the staff link for recipes from active retail plans.

Retail Settings requires Retail access and permission to view the page. **Markups** also requires permission to view cost and profit information, so it may not appear for every member.
