# Insights

The **Insights** tab summarizes the retail plan currently open. **Product Tier Distribution** compares the estimated selling value of product tiers. **Plan Costs Breakdown** compares flower, waste, hard-good, and labor costs.

Use these charts as a planning review. They are not an accounting report, a sales record, or a replacement for product-level price and cost review. The current tab displays a FlowerBuddy Retail beta notice, so review the available charts without assuming additional reporting is included.

## Product Tier Distribution

Each slice uses the selling prices and quantities of products in that tier as a percentage of the plan's estimated sales. It is not a count of product designs. Products without a tier are grouped under **No Tier**.

For example, if Standard products contribute $240 of a $400 plan and Deluxe products contribute $160, the chart shows 60% Standard and 40% Deluxe. Changing a product's tier changes its grouping; it does not set its selling price. [Manage product details](/reference/retail-plan-page/recipes/manage-product-details.md) explains tier assignment.

A plan with no estimated selling value has no distribution to display. Check product quantities and selling prices on **Recipes** if the chart is empty.

## Plan Costs Breakdown

The chart shows **Flowers**, **Waste**, **Hard Goods**, and **Labor**. Use it to compare these cost components across the plan, then open the products on **Recipes** to investigate the underlying quantities and costs.

This chart is not a complete accounting report and does not show every overhead category separately. Use [Price products and review margins](/reference/retail-plan-page/recipes/price-products-and-review-margins.md) to review direct labor, Design Fee, overhead, and selling price together.
