# Retail Plan Page

The Retail Plan Page brings together the products, quantities, pricing, and preparation for one selling period. A product's selling price is what you plan to charge for it. Its ingredients and labor help estimate cost; pricing settings such as markups and Design Fee help calculate a suggested selling price.

A product quantity is the number you plan to sell or make. Ingredient quantities describe what goes into one product. For example, 20 bouquets containing eight roses each require 160 roses. [Plan product quantities and ingredients](/reference/retail-plan-page/recipes/plan-product-quantities-and-ingredients.md) explains where to enter each amount.

## Read the plan summary

The summary shows **Cost**, **Est. Sales**, **AOV**, and **Est. Profit** when your permissions allow cost and profit information.

* **Cost** estimates the included costs of the planned products.
* **Est. Sales** uses product selling prices and planned quantities. It is an estimate, not a record of completed sales.
* **AOV** divides the plan's estimated sales by the combined quantity of its products and groups. For example, estimated sales of $600 across 20 products give an AOV of $30. This is a planning average, not a measurement of customer transactions.
* **Est. Profit** compares estimated sales with the included costs. Accurate ingredient, labor, and overhead inputs make that estimate more useful.

Review product quantities and prices when a summary looks unexpected rather than treating the summary as a separate number to edit.

## Work through the plan

Use **Details** for plan information, **Tasks** for plan-specific work, **Recipes** for products, **Insights** for the available plan summaries, **Order** for ingredient purchasing review, and **Build** for production handoff. **History** is available to workspace owners where the tab is shown.

The **Order** tab requires permission to view cost and profit information. If it is missing, ask the workspace owner to review your role rather than changing the plan's data.
