# Manage plan templates

Use **Retail Library > Plan Templates** to create a reusable template, open it for editing, make a new plan from it, or remove it from the Library.

1. Select **New Template**, enter a **Template Name**, and select **Create**. The new template opens in its own editor.
2. Open a template from its name or use **Edit Template** to review its reusable Details, Tasks, Recipes, and Insights tabs.
3. Use **Create Plan From Template** when you want a separate retail plan to start from the template.
4. Use **Delete Template** only when it should no longer be available as a starting point. Confirm the deletion dialog to remove the saved template.

Creating a plan copies the template's setup at that time. It does not create a continuing connection. The **New Template** control can be unavailable when your workspace role cannot create events and plans.
