# Set plan template details

Open a plan template and select **Details** to maintain the reusable information copied into future plans.

You need permission to edit the plan template to use these controls. Permission to view a template does not by itself make its name, tags, notes, or Plan Flowers editable.

1. Use the edit control beside the template name when the saved template needs a different name.
2. Add **Tags** and **Assignees** when they help identify or organize the reusable setup.
3. Use **Notes** for reusable team-facing information, not a detail that belongs only to one future plan.
4. Add **Plan Flowers** when the template should offer a reusable floral starting point for its recipes.

Plan Flowers is a palette, not a purchase list or a finished recipe. A real retail plan receives its own date range when it is created. Use the real plan for dates and work that changes for one production period.
