# Details

The template **Details** tab holds reusable plan information. It includes the template name, tags, assignees, notes, Plan Flowers, and the available Markups and Settings sections.

Use Details for information that should make sense as a starting point for future plans. A template does not show a live plan's date range, purchase orders, build work, or other active-plan information.

Members with permission to edit the template can use its edit controls. Members without that permission can view the template where they have access but cannot change its Details. **Markups** is a separate visibility decision: it appears only for members who can view cost and profit information.
