# Plan Template Page

Open a saved plan template from **Retail Library > Plan Templates** to prepare the reusable information that a new retail plan can start with. This editor is nested under Retail Library because it edits one library template.

Use **Details** for the reusable template information and settings. Use **Tasks** for repeatable task setup. Use **Recipes** for products and recipe groups that belong in the template. **Insights** is a limited beta view of the template's current values.

A plan template is not an active retail plan. It does not have the plan-only **Order** or **Build** tabs. Creating a retail plan from the template copies its setup at that time.
