# Taxes report

The **Taxes** report creates one row for each tax line on an event. It helps review the tax configuration and calculated amounts across selected events. It is not a tax filing or a payment action.

## Choose the events

Set **Event Date From**, **Event Date To**, and **Event Status**, then select **Refresh**. The date range applies to the event date and both ends are included. For example, use a calendar quarter with **Booked** and **Completed** to review tax lines on events in that period. An event with two applicable tax profiles appears as two report rows.

## Read the tax columns

The event columns identify the source event and its current **Status**, **Workflow Status**, tags, and people. **Tax Name** identifies the tax line and **Tax Groups** identifies the groups used by its configuration. **Event Subtotal** is the price subtotal before tax. **Event Subtotal Taxable** and **Event Subtotal Non Taxable** divide that subtotal by taxability.

For a percentage tax, **Tax Rate** shows the percentage and **Tax Amount** is **N/A**. For a fixed tax, **Tax Amount** shows the fixed amount and **Tax Rate** is **N/A**. **Calculated Tax** is the tax calculated for that event line. For example, a $1,000 taxable subtotal with a 5% tax has a calculated tax of $50. Use the table tools to show fields needed for a review or export the loaded rows after checking the dates and statuses.
