# Events report

Use **Events** to compare event identity, progress, relationships, and amounts across the workspace. It is a current-data report rather than an accounting export.

## Choose the events

Enter **Event Date From** and **Event Date To** to include event dates in that inclusive range. Choose one or more **Event Status** values, then select **Refresh**. The first load has **Booked** selected. Select **Reset** to clear the filter controls before choosing a different set. For example, use July 1 through July 31 with **Booked** to review committed July work, or clear status filters when comparing inquiries and proposals too.

## Read the identifying columns

**Event #**, **Event Name**, and **Event Date** identify the event. **Status** is the main event status and **Workflow Status** is the owner-defined custom substatus. **Clients**, professional contacts, **Assignees**, **Tags**, and configured event-role columns identify the people and labels attached to it. Created, form-submitted, main-status, and **Workflow Status** date columns show when those milestones occurred when the corresponding field is available.

## Read the amounts

**Price** is the event price. **Total Paid** is money recorded against the balance. **Balance Due** is what remains after application fees. **Tax**, **Discount**, **Tip**, and **Application Fees** are the current calculated amounts.

**Cost** is the total planning cost and **Profit** is the planning result after cost. **Flower Cost**, **Hardgood Cost**, **Labor Cost**, **Waste Cost**, **Other Cost**, and **Overhead Cost** show the cost components. For example, an event priced at $5,000 with $3,000 cost has $2,000 planning profit before considering whether a particular report column is hidden.
