Vendors

The Vendors tab on Purchasing holds the wholesaler locations you use regularly. Favorite locations make supplier selection easier, and one location is shown as your Default Wholesaler.

The page separates that default from My Other Wholesalers. A wholesaler with several locations may have different location choices, so select the one you actually use.

Favorites and purchase orders

Favorites are a convenient supplier list, not a record of purchases. Choosing a default does not submit an order, and removing a favorite does not cancel an order or remove the supplier's business.

Always check the vendor and price on the recipe planning row or purchase order itself. Those records can use a different wholesaler from your current default.
