# Orders

The **Orders** tab on [Purchasing](/reference/purchasing.md) lists saved purchase orders. Use it to find a supplier order, update its delivery date or status, and reopen its items without first choosing an event-date range.

Each row shows an order number, vendor, number of associated events, order date, and delivery date. The date filter here uses the delivery date, unlike the event-date filter on **Create & Manage Orders**.

## Keep the purchase record current

Use the pencil to edit order details. **View & Manage Order** opens the order together with its related events and buying requirements on **Create & Manage Orders**.

The status records progress from **Draft** through **Submitted**, **Confirmed**, and **Received**. These are records you maintain in FlowerBuddy, not messages or confirmations sent to or received from your wholesaler.

An order can also exist without an associated event, for example when recording a separate supply purchase.
