# Resolve purchasing price differences

The same flower or hard good can have different planning prices in different events. When those events are retrieved together on [Purchasing](/reference/purchasing.md), FlowerBuddy may ask you to choose which price to use before continuing.

## Choose a consistent planning price

In **Price Conflicts Detected**, compare each item's **Price Ea.**, **Group Price (Qty.)**, and **Wholesaler**. Select the price to use for every item listed, then click **Update Event Prices**.

This updates the selected item prices across the retrieved events. It is not only a display preference. If you are not ready to make that change, cancel, review the separate events, and retrieve a more suitable set of records.

## Check the buying-group quantity

A warning beside an ordered quantity can mean the recipe's planning price and the purchase order use different numbers of units per group. Open the warning to compare the two definitions rather than assuming that one bunch always contains the same number of stems.

The comparison below shows a planning price with eight stems per bunch and an order with ten. The bunch price is the same, but the number of stems and cost per stem are different.

If the planning definition is wrong, correct the item's planning price. If a particular order uses a different pack size, correct that order's item price instead. Recheck the resulting unit quantity and **Need** amount after the change. A matching group count alone does not prove that enough stems have been ordered.
