# Filter and review inventory movements

Select **Item** and choose a hard good to review every change to that record. Select **Event** to focus on pulls and restocks associated with an event. Use both filters when reconciling a specific item used for a specific event. Change rows per page or use the page controls for older entries.

Expand a row instead of relying only on its short summary. The details show the entered movement, resulting Total, In Stock, Rented, Receiving, and Purchased amounts, the event allocation, and note.

## Read the movement type

* **Purchase** adds bought pieces to Purchased and Total.
* **Receive** moves delivered pieces from Purchased to Receiving and records any loss.
* **Stock** moves Receiving into In Stock.
* **Pull** moves In Stock into Rented, with an event or general allocation. A sale also reduces Total.
* **Restock** returns Rented pieces to In Stock. Lost, stolen, or damaged pieces reduce Total.
* **Adjust** replaces the stage counts after a correction.

For example, a Purchase, Receive, and Stock sequence explains how a new vase entered the business. A Pull and Restock sequence explains why it temporarily left stock. Use the row dates and notes to resolve a difference before making another adjustment.
