Add and remove inventory items
Use Add Item To Inventory when a hard good should have a stock record. This does not create a recipe or add the item to an event.
Add a tracked item
On Inventory, select Add Item To Inventory.
In Hard Good, search for and select the existing FlowerBuddy item. If it does not exist yet, add the hard good in Core Data before returning to Inventory.
Choose a Location when the item has a known storage place.
Enter the starting quantities. Put ready-to-use pieces in In Stock. Use Purchased or Receiving only when that is their real current stage.
Select Add.

FlowerBuddy creates an adjustment entry for a nonzero starting count. One active Inventory record exists for each hard good, so use the existing row when the item is already tracked. For example, add 24 bud vases to In Stock at Main studio > Vase shelving; do not create a second record for the same vase because it is stored in another room.
Stop tracking an item
Expand the item's row and select Remove from Inventory. Read the confirmation, then confirm only when the business no longer needs an Inventory record for that item. The action clears the tracked quantities, removes the active row, and writes an adjustment to Log. It does not delete the hard good from Core Data, recipes, or past records.
Adding a removed item again reactivates its Inventory record. Enter the count you have at that time rather than assuming the earlier quantity is still accurate.
