# Preview a public form

Preview a public form to check its layout, wording, required fields, and return behavior before you share the link. Opening the page does not create a submission.

## Open the public page

1. Open the **Forms** tab.
2. Find the form you want to inspect.
3. Select its share icon to copy the public link, or open the form from the editor's **Copy Sharable Link** control.
4. Open the link in a browser tab.

The public page does not require a FlowerBuddy sign-in. Review the logo, intro text, question order, field labels, helper text, required asterisks, and submit control. Check that **Return URL** points to the website page you want recipients to use after submission.

The public form below shows required contact and event-date fields and the **Submit** button.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="https://2616748322-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FUtdSEPutB4SrRwwUMOIx%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-f875734b28223fa01612f7175d49f550da197d7a%2Fforms-public-form.png?alt=media" alt="FlowerBuddy public form preview with required Contact Details, Name, Email, and Event Date fields, a calendar input, and the Submit button. The form is shown before its confirmation state." width="550"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

## Make corrections in the editor

Return to the **Form Editor** when the public page needs changes. Update [Form Design](/reference/forms/form-editor/form-design.md) for appearance and messages, [Form Details](/reference/forms/form-editor/form-details.md) for event creation or return behavior, and [Form Fields](/reference/forms/form-editor/form-fields.md) for questions and required choices.

Preview again after changing the form. Opening it does not send an email. Selecting **Submit** sends a florist notification and, when a primary client email is collected, a client confirmation. It also creates an event if **Create Event** is enabled. Check those settings before submitting a test response.
