Archive, restore, or delete form submissions

Archive a submission when it no longer belongs in the active review list but should remain available. Restore it when it needs attention again. Permanent deletion is for a response that should no longer be retained.

Archive or restore a response

  1. Open Forms > Form Submissions.

  2. Select the checkbox for one or more responses.

  3. In the selected-response toolbar, choose Archive for active responses or Unarchive for archived responses.

  4. Review the confirmation dialog and select the matching action.

Archived responses move to the Archived view. Unarchived responses return to Active.

Delete a response

  1. Open the Archived view.

  2. Select one or more responses.

  3. Choose Delete.

  4. Check the confirmation message. It identifies permanent deletion and says the action cannot be undone.

  5. Select Delete only when the response should be removed permanently.

For one response, the row action offers Archive on an active response, or Unarchive and Delete on an archived response. Bulk actions apply to the selected rows. Deleting a response is separate from deleting a form and does not delete a linked event.

Use Review and find form submissions to locate the response before changing its status. Do not archive a response as a substitute for deciding whether its linked event still needs work.
