# Form Submissions

The **Form Submissions** tab is the response inbox for forms in your workspace. Each submission is one saved set of answers. The response can be associated with an event, but the submission and event remain separate records.

Use **Active** for responses that still need review and **Archived** for responses you have set aside. The grid can show **Submitted**, **Submitted By**, **Event**, and **Event Date**, along with row actions for opening answers, creating an event, or changing the submission's status.

When no responses have been saved, the tab shows an empty-state message. When responses exist, the same tab displays the submissions grid.

## Review a response

[Review and find form submissions](/reference/forms/form-submissions/review-form-submissions.md) explains the Active and Archived views, search, filters, sorting, columns, submitter email copying, and linked events. [View form submission details](/reference/forms/form-submissions/view-submission-details.md) explains the answer dialog and its field-specific values.

## Continue or clear the work

When a response should become an event, use [Create an event from a form submission](/reference/forms/form-submissions/create-an-event-from-a-submission.md). When a response no longer belongs in the active review list, use [Archive, restore, or delete form submissions](/reference/forms/form-submissions/archive-and-delete-submissions.md). Use [Export form submissions to CSV](/reference/forms/form-submissions/export-form-submissions.md) when you need a file containing selected responses and their answers.
