# Bulk update recipe templates

Select recipe template cards to show the bulk action bar. The bar identifies the number selected and keeps the changes together so you can apply one library update to several templates.

## Add a tag or image

Select **Add Tag** to open **Bulk Add Tag** for the selected templates. The dialog lets you choose or enter the shared tag before applying it.

Choose or enter the tag name in **Tag**, then select **Add**. The tag is added to the selected templates, and the result reports how many updates succeeded, were skipped, or failed.

Select **Add Recipe Image**, then choose **Upload Image** to use a file or **Select from Library** to reuse an available image. The selected image is added to the selected templates. Use this when several designs should share a reference image, and review each card afterward if the image order matters.

## Read the result

Bulk actions report **success**, **skipped**, and **failed** counts. A skipped template did not need the requested change or was not eligible for it. A failed template was not updated. Review the cards and retry only the records that still need attention.
