# Event Template editor

The Event Template editor is where you prepare the reusable content that a future event can start with. It looks like an Event Page, but a template is not an event in progress. It has no client relationship, booking status, payment history, or production work to complete.

The editor's summary identifies the record with the **TEMPLATE** marker. The available tabs are **Details**, **Tasks**, **Recipes**, **Taxes, Discounts, & Fees**, and **Proposal**. **Order** and **Build** are not available for templates because purchasing and production belong to a real event after its recipes and date-specific needs are known.

This populated template shows reusable recipe sections and the template-specific tab set. The lock control in the summary can help prevent accidental edits after the setup is ready.

## Details

Use **Details** for the reusable name, team organization, notes, Event Flowers, payments, contract, markups, and settings. Template Details intentionally omit clients, professional contacts, timeline entries, and files because those belong to a particular event.
