# Configure profit, warnings, and date format

Use View Settings to choose how your team reads profit, pricing warnings, and dates in new events.

The image below shows profit display, price warning tolerance, and date format.

## Choose the profit display

Turn on **View Profit as Percent** when your team wants profit shown as a percentage. Turn it off when the default profit view should use the other available display.

This changes how profit is presented. It does not change the profit calculation.

## Set the price warning tolerance

Enter a value for **Price Warning Tolerance ($)**. FlowerBuddy uses the tolerance when it decides whether to show the related price warning or error. A larger tolerance allows a larger difference before the warning appears; a smaller tolerance makes the check more sensitive.

Choose a value that helps your team review pricing without treating a display threshold as a change to the event price.

## Choose a date format

Select a value under **Date Format** for the general date format used throughout the event. Proposal title pages have their own date format choice, so this setting does not override that title-page-specific control.

The selected defaults are copied into future events created without an event template. Existing events keep their own view settings until you change them directly.
