# Markups

The Markups tab contains the pricing assumptions used when FlowerBuddy calculates suggested prices for new event work. These settings describe how your team accounts for design fees, flower and hard-good costs, labor, overhead, and platform or processing fees.

Markups is available only when your workspace has access to cost and profit information. If the tab is not visible, the feature is gated by your plan or permissions. Pricing controls for one existing event belong in that event's settings.

The values here are defaults for new events. They are copied at event creation and are not a live connection to existing events. An event template can provide its own starting values when selected during creation.
