# Contract

The Contract tab controls whether contracts are available, which reusable contract content exists, what signer information a new event collects, and which contracts start on new events.

Contracts are client-facing terms that a client can view and sign when the feature is enabled. Contract access can depend on plan access and Automatic Signature Authorization. FlowerBuddy may ask you to complete that authorization before contracts can be enabled.

## What this tab controls

* **Enable** controls whether clients can view and sign the contract terms you add.
* **Signer information** controls which fields a new event collects from signers. Name and Email are required. Signer address, Signer phone number, and Signer company name are optional collection choices.
* **Contract Library** stores reusable contract templates.
* **Default Event Contracts** selects the contracts that should start on new events.
* **Preview** lets you review selected default contracts before using them.

The Contract tab brings these choices together with the authorization notice, signer information, and the current Contract Library and Default Event Contracts state.

Contract content and signer information are separate choices. A contract variable can require signer information even when the corresponding field is not selected as a general collection choice, so review the fields required by the contracts you use.
