# Use images and FlowerBuddy AI with recipes

Recipe images help clients understand a design and help the production team recognize the intended result. FlowerBuddy AI can also create first-draft recipes and generate or revise images.

These are separate uses of AI. AI-generated Event Flowers suggests the event's flower palette. AI-generated recipes use that palette to draft flowers and quantities. AI-generated images create or revise one image at a time.

AI features require access to FlowerBuddy AI and available AI credits.

Recipe media is managed inside the expanded recipe under **Inspiration Photos & Notes**, alongside the recipe's flowers, hard goods, labor, and pricing sections.

## Add and arrange recipe images

1. Open the event and select **Recipes**.
2. Expand a recipe, then expand **Inspiration Photos & Notes**.
3. Use the upload control to add an image or video, choose an existing library image, or select an available item thumbnail.
4. Review the crop and adjust its framing.
5. Drag media into the intended order, or remove media that no longer represents the design.

Review the first image and the full set in the proposal and Build context where they will be used. An inspiration image communicates direction, but it does not change the recipe's flowers or quantities.

## Generate one recipe with AI

Use **Add Item** > **Generate Recipe** when you want one new draft:

1. Confirm that **Event Flowers** contains the palette FlowerBuddy AI should use.
2. Enter a simple, specific recipe description.
3. Select **Generate**.
4. Review the draft name, description, flower choices, and quantities.
5. Edit the draft directly or enter feedback and select **Refine**.
6. Select **Save** only when the draft is ready to become an event recipe.

The generator selects from Event Flowers. The saved result needs a separate review for hard goods, labor, costs, selling price, images, and notes.

## Generate or refine several recipes with AI

Use **Generate Recipes** when you want FlowerBuddy AI to work from an outline of several recipes and recipe proposal sections.

1. Review **Event Flowers**.
2. Describe the event for the generator.
3. Review the outline. Add, remove, rename, describe, or reorder recipes and sections.
4. Use the checkboxes to choose which existing recipes should be regenerated.
5. Decide whether AI should generate new recipe descriptions.
6. Select **Generate**, then inspect and edit every draft.

Saving the multi-recipe draft replaces all existing recipes and recipe proposal sections in the event. Recipe groups and other costs are not replaced, but FlowerBuddy moves them to the bottom of the list. Review this warning and the full draft before selecting **Save**.

## Generate or revise an image with AI

From the recipe's media controls, select **Generate with AI**:

1. Enter a **Prompt** describing the image you want.
2. Optionally add an **Inspiration Image** when you want to revise an existing visual direction.
3. For the first generation, choose whether to include the recipe description or recipe flowers in the prompt.
4. Select **Generate**.
5. Enter a new prompt and select **Regenerate** when the result needs another revision.
6. Select **Use Image** to add the chosen result to the recipe.

AI generates one image at a time. It does not update the recipe's flower list, quantities, or description.

## Review AI output

Treat every AI result as a draft. Before it reaches a client or production team, check:

* Flower names and quantities against the intended recipe.
* Availability and planning cost for every flower.
* Hard goods, labor, and selling price, which may still need to be added.
* Proposal descriptions for unsupported claims or details.
* Images for inaccurate flower forms, colors, mechanics, scale, or setting.

Edit the recipe itself when the production plan changes. Editing an image alone does not change what the team will order or build.
