Review proposal views

The Views control on the event's Proposal tab shows recorded visits to its shared proposal. Use it as an indication that the link has been opened, not proof that a particular client read or accepted the proposal.

Open the view history

  1. Open the event and select Proposal.

  2. Select Views, which includes the current recorded count.

  3. Review the entries in the dialog.

When no visits have been recorded, the dialog shows its column headings without any rows, as in this example.

FlowerBuddy Views dialog with Time, IP Address, and Location column headings and no entries because this example proposal has no recorded visits.

Read the entries

  • Time is when the visit was recorded, displayed using your browser's local date and time format.

  • IP Address is the visitor's network address when available. Anonymous means an address is unavailable.

  • Location is the location information associated with that address when available. Unknown means no location is available.

The table is ordered by visit time. It does not identify a visitor by their name or email, and a network location should not be treated as a confirmed client address.

Understand the count

FlowerBuddy records visits made without a signed-in FlowerBuddy account. Repeated visits from the same known IP address within 30 minutes are not counted again. People sharing a network may therefore contribute fewer entries than the number of people who opened the link.

Your authenticated review is not the same as a client's visit. Likewise, a zero count does not prove that a client has never seen a downloaded PDF or information you sent another way.

For contract acceptance, check the signed contract. For a received payment, check the event's payment records. A proposal view establishes neither result.
