# Order

The **Order** tab turns the flowers and hard goods in event recipes into purchasing information. **Summary** compares current recipe needs with quantities already recorded on linked purchase orders. **Purchase Orders** keeps the vendor, dates, prices, quantities, status, and **Order Total** for each order together. Creating a purchase order or changing its status does not send anything to a vendor.

## Availability

Before you plan an event's purchases, check whether **Order** is available. Some Events subscriptions keep this tab locked until the event is **Booked**. A locked tab can show an unlock message explaining that access starts after booking or that the subscription must be upgraded. Your role can also hide the tab when you cannot view event costs and profit. **Order** is not available on an event template.

## Summary

**Summary** groups flowers and hard goods by vendor location. It includes items that still need to be purchased and items that remain on a linked purchase order even when the current recipe plan has changed. Use the row checkboxes and vendor-group checkboxes to select items for **Change Vendor**, **Order**, or **Export**. The vendor filter narrows the displayed rows, while selection chooses rows for an action.

The populated **Summary** below shows the planning view before a purchase order is placed. It keeps the event's flower needs, vendor group, quantity, group quantity, cost, and waste together so you can decide what to order next.

## Purchase Orders

**Purchase Orders** lists the purchase orders linked to the open event. An order can include flowers, hard goods, notes, an order number, order and delivery dates, a vendor, linked events, a status, and an **Order Total**. An order associated with multiple events may be read-only from this event and must be managed from **Purchasing**.

If the event has no flowers or hard goods, Order shows **There are no items or hard goods in this event** with a link to the **Recipes Tab**. Add the items to an event recipe, then return to **Order**.
