# Manage clients, signers, and professional contacts

The **Contact Info** section separates the people receiving your services from other people involved in the event.

* A client is a person the event is for. An event can have more than one client.
* A professional contact is another participant, such as a planner, venue contact, photographer, or rental contact.
* A workspace member is part of your FlowerBuddy team. Adding someone as a client or professional contact does not give them workspace access.

## Add a client

1. Open the event and select **Details**.
2. Expand **Contact Info** and select **Add Client**.
3. To attach a saved client, select the client and then select **Add**.
4. To create a client, select **Create New Client**.
5. Enter the required **Name** and any available email, phone, address, company, notes, and **Role**, then select **Add**.

The **Add Client** dialog keeps the reusable contact details together with the role that applies only to this event.

The client's **Role** is specific to this event. For example, a person can be the Primary Contact on one event without receiving that role on another.

Select **Copy Email** beside an email address when you need the address elsewhere. **Use Email Template** prepares reusable message text for the selected contact. Choosing a template does not send an email.

## Choose the contract signer

Only one client can be the event signer at a time.

1. Find the client who should sign.
2. Select **Make Signer for Event**.
3. Review the confirmation. If another signer is already selected, the dialog names both people.
4. Select **Make Signer** or **Switch Signer**.

The selected client receives the **Signer** label. The next document that requires a signature can be signed only by that client. Confirm the signer's email and any other information required by the contract before sharing it.

When a generated contract already exists, FlowerBuddy protects the signer relationship used by that document. Resolve or remove an unsigned document before trying to make a conflicting signer change.

## Add a professional contact

1. Under **Professional Contacts**, select **Add Contact**.
2. To attach a saved professional contact, select the contact and then select **Add**.
3. If no contact matches your search, select **Add contact?**.
4. Enter the contact's role and any company, email, phone, address, website, or notes you have, then select **Add**.
5. In **Add Contact**, select **Add** again to attach the new contact to the event.

Professional contacts are reusable records. If you edit the contact's shared details, FlowerBuddy warns that the change applies to every event that uses that contact.

## Edit or remove a contact

Select **Edit Contact** on a contact row to change the available details. For a client, the event role belongs to this event. For a professional contact, shared contact details can affect other events.

Use **Remove Client from Event** or **Remove Contact from Event** to detach the person from this event. Removal does not delete the reusable client or professional contact from Core Data.

You cannot remove the selected signer while a contract document depends on that signer. Contact changes also require event edit access and an unlocked event.
