# Build sharing and recipient tabs

The shared Build page lets employees or contractors review event information and production instructions without signing in to FlowerBuddy. Possession of the link provides access to the information on the page, so review everything visible before sharing it.

## Review the page before sharing

1. Open the event and select **Build**.
2. Review the event information, hard goods, recipes, notes, images, and locations that the recipient will see.
3. Select **Published** when the shared page is ready to be available.
4. Use **Expires** and **Expiration Date** when access should end on a particular date.
5. Select **Copy Sharable Link** or **QR Code** to provide access through an approved channel.

The Build page also offers **Print** and **Build Tags**. Those controls create signed-in production documents and are separate from the shared page.

## Recipient tabs

The shared page has three tabs:

* **Event Info** shows the event name, date, client and professional contacts, timeline information, and addresses that the page makes available.
* **Hard Good Pull List** shows hard-good quantities and inventory groupings for the recipient to review.
* **Build Instructions** shows recipe cards, quantities, assignees, locations, notes, images, materials, labor information, and progress.

On a smaller screen, the tabs open from the navigation menu. The recipient does not need a FlowerBuddy account to open the shared page.

## Explain what recipients can change

The shared **Event Info** and **Hard Good Pull List** tabs are for review. On **Build Instructions**, a recipient can change recipe progress, record a **Completed By** name, and add or remove a finished-product progress image. Those changes write back to the event's Build information. The [Build progress article](/reference/event-page/build/progress-completion-and-photos.md) shows the exact progress controls and their result.

Review recipe notes and images before sharing because the link recipient can see them. Share the link only with the people who need the production information. Do not put the link in a public document or send it to an unintended recipient.

## Unavailable shared Build page

When **Published** is off or the **Expiration Date** has passed, the shared page shows an unavailable message instead of the three tabs. The recipient message does not tell you whether the page was unpublished or expired. Check **Published**, **Expires**, and **Expiration Date** on the event's Build tab to identify the cause.

## Review shared access

The shared page is ready when the intended recipient can open it, the three tabs show only information approved for sharing, and the page's publication and expiration settings match the access you intended to provide. Turn off **Published** or let the expiration date end when the production access should stop.
